Solomon Douglas

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

If you are planning to hire one of Solomon Douglas’s bands, his general deposit and cancellation policy is as follows. In particular circumstances, the details may be different; please be sure you understand this before sending the deposit.

For any date other than New Year’s Eve, you can reserve the date with a $100 non-refundable deposit. You’ll need to send an additional $200 deposit (for a total of $300) at least 30 days ahead of the gig. The $200 deposit is fully refundable should you cancel the event more than 30 days before the date, and is non-refundable after that.

If the total requested deposits have not been received 30 days before the date of the gig then the gig will be canceled.

The purpose of the first deposit is to ensure that you’re serious about hiring the band; Solomon Douglas will be turning down other gig offers for you, so he needs to know that the gig is actually happening. The purpose of the second deposit is so that he can pay for his travel costs.

For a gig taking place on New Year’s Eve, you can reserve the date with a 50% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking.
